Sugar Beach Hotel Mauritius
The Sugar Beach Hotel is on the west coast of Mauritius. The distance from the capital city of Port Louis is 35 km. It is spread over an area of 20 acres. It has a good Manor house, colonial architecture and style and Creole or rattan furniture.
The Sugar Beach hotel has 80 manor house rooms, 66 beach villa rooms, 2 villa suites and 90 sea-view villa rooms. One king-size double bed or twin beds are placed in all the rooms. There are two double beds in 83 rooms. This type of accommodation is suitable for families having 4 individuals.
The other facilities in the rooms are satellite TV, private bath, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, shower and toilet, hairdryer, electric-shaver points (110/220 volt), air-conditioning and built-in electronic safe. The rooms also have a private and furnished balcony or terrace. 20 rooms are interconnected. The beach villas are separated from the shore of Mauritius by a distance of less than 30 meters.
Citronellas Café is an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant. Fresh fish and barbecues can be tasted at Paul & Virginie. Afternoon tea can be sipped at Bois Cheri garden. Light snacks and salad are relished at the Poolside. The Restaurant is meant for elegant table d’hote dinners and buffets. La Rhumerie is a quiet place for liquers, rums and cognacs. Beach bar trolley is a regular beach service. The timing is 10:30 hours to 17:00 hours. The Plantation Pool Bar is known for evening entertainment and cocktails.
There is a casino where roulette, blackjack and slot machines exist. There is a live resident band which provides you with live music and entertainment in the evenings. Facilities for playing volleyball, table tennis, and mini golf exist along with a swimming pool for refreshing yourself. Additionally, there are 7 floodlit tennis courts and several water sports like kayaks, sailing, snorkeling, skiing, sea ski, pedal boats, windsurfing and glass bottom boat which can be enjoyed. If the required fees are paid, then parasailing, big game fishing, water sleigh, tube can be done. The Sugar Club – gym, hairdressing salon and beauty center have been arranged for numerous treatments like massage and steam baths.
