Preskil Hotel Mauritius
The Preskil hotel has a typical Creole architecture. The hotel is located in a tropical garden overlooking three sandy beaches of white sandy type. This resort shares a border with a lagoon. Here there is unique crystal clear blue water. From this hotel one can get a panoramic view of the l’lle aux Aigrettes. There is a fascinating marine park at Blue bay.
The Preskil hotel has 200 rooms. These are divided into 3 categories. There are 132 standard rooms having an area of 30sq.m. The number of superior rooms is 54. These have an area of 42sq.m. There are 14 deluxe rooms having an area of 62sq.m. These rooms are arranged in different styles and this makes the stay in the hotel memorable. The “Duo” rooms are designed for honeymoon couples and directly lead to the beach.
The “Zananas” are which rooms are very enticing due to their exotic nature. The “Cottages” and “Penthouse” rooms have a colonial touch and provide a good look over the lagoon, the Lion mountain and l’ile aux Aigrettes. All of these rooms have a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, electronic safe, internet connection, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, color television with international satellite channels and telephone with direct international access.
‘Tapas’ is a grill and beach bar which is open from 12 hrs to 15:30 hrs and 19:30 hrs to 22:30 hrs. This is built on the beachfront. There is a Mediterranean-type deck. Here, cuisines can be enjoyed in the open sunshine. At lunchtime there is an atmosphere of the tropics.
The Indigo bar is open for lunch from 12 hrs to 18 hrs. The bar facilities are open from 9:30 hrs to 1 hr. During the day, one can have light meals. The bar is a good place for having warm beverages and drinks and provides a musical atmosphere. Guests can select from an international range of exotic cocktails.
‘Fisherman’s cove’ is a restaurant on the pool deck where the best seafood of the lagoon is served. The chefs use the ocean’s treasure to prepare the dishes. This restaurant is open from 19 hrs to 22:30 hours.
‘Spices’ is a half board restaurant open from 7 hrs to 10:30 hrs and 19 hrs to 22:30 hrs. The main restaurant is open everyday for breakfast and dinner. In the evenings, there are theme buffets and table d’hote where Mauritian cuisines are served.
The ‘Ylang Spa’ caters to the satisfaction of the body care, massages and relaxation. The parlors are beautifully designed to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. There are five individual massage rooms, 2 “Duo” massage rooms accompanied by a Japanese bath and one body wrapping. There are also 2 steam baths for several beneficial effects.
