Almost all of the ranking hotels rent cars via specialized car hiring agencies. You can explore the Island much better by taking a car rather than traveling in a bus. The car hire center will perform some formalities before you actually hire the car. They will look for your driver’s license and you may have to submit some documents as a security for renting the car. Drivers must be at least 23 years old and the driver must hold an International Driver’s license which is valid for at least one year.
The most exciting and interesting way to explore the Island is to hire a scooter. Exploring the Island by scooter will give you a lot of fun. Scooters can’t take you at long distances as buses and taxis but are exciting and fun at the same time. Scooters are rented in many shops and hotels and it is not also expensive.
